The Municipal Enterprise of Aghioi Anargyroi "ALFA - ALFA" implements several social programs:
- Domestic Help Program: Coordinator of the Domestic Help Program is the 2nd Day Care Centre for the Elderly of the Municipality since 1998.
- Social Providence program: Coordinator of the Program is the 1st Day Care Centre for the Elderly. The Program comprises to the provision of a complete spectrum of social services to the inhabitants of the municipality.
Complementary Supportive Services for the Social Integration of Vulnerable Groups: This program was implemented from December 2003 and benefited chronically unemployed men and women over the age of 45. The goal of the program was the empowerment of the target group, mainly through private and group sessions that aimed to develop their social, professional and job-hunting skills and to educate them on professional and entrepreneurial issues.

Hellenic Association of Social Workers (H.A.S.W.)
The Hellenic Association of Social Workers is the scientific body and the labor union of Social Workers in Greece. The Association was founded in 1955, in order to secure the labor and scientific rights of social workers and to form an independent and strong entity, which will promote social policy issues in Greece. Today, HASW counts more 5.000 members and 30 regional divisions and is an official counselor of the State in social policy issues.
On a national level, the Association fights for the protection of human and social rights and combats social prejudices and discriminations. HASW is the leading organization of Social Workers and thus participates in the decision-making authorities, comments on laws, focuses on the country’s social problems and sensitizes public opinion, in order to contribute in the design of social policy and submit proposals for social issues, such as education, vocational training, employment etc.
On a European level, HASW participates in the International Federation of Social Workers and is a member of the Social Workers Union of National Associations of Social Workers and cooperates with the European Commission on social policy issues. HOLY METROPOLIS OF PERISTERI
The Holy Metropolis of Peristeri consists of 33 Holy Temples and is considered to be one of the most important Metropolises of the Church of Greece, because of its contribution to people and families.
The Secretariat of Homily is responsible for the coordination and the organization of several events and activities, such as homily gatherings, counselling groups, educational seminars, Byzantine painting classes, traditional dances class, a Christian chorus, publication of magazines and a radio show.
